Storyboard Text

  • I have decided to put an end to this problem once and for all.
  • The only bad Native Americans should be driven out of here
  • We will force Governor Berkeley to let us fight the Indians. We will not take no for an answer.
  • Go ahead, I don't care what you do.
  • I will have my rebellion kill you if you don't let us fight the Native Americans!
  • Governor Berkeley decides to address the problem and calls together an assembly of burgesses.
  • Wait! You may fight the Indians, just don't kill us!
  • Then I will have my rebellion kill your burgesses.
  • Bacon and his army want permission from Governor Berkeley to fight the Native Americans.
  • Bacon threatens Berkeley, but Berkeley won't budge.
  • Instead, Bacon decides to threaten the burgesses into giving him permission.
  • Fighting ensued for months until Bacon was accused of treason by Governor Berkeley. This upset Bacon so he took his rebellion to Jamestown and burned it.
  • Soon after Jamestown was burned, Bacon died and the Rebellion was taken over by John Ingram. The rebellion didn't last long after that.
