  • John Locke was born on August 29, 1632, in a small thatched cottage by the church in Wrington, Somerset, England
  • Being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty, or possessions
  • He attended schools in London and Oxford and graduated from bachelor’s degree in 1656 and a master’s two years later. He later attended Christ Church and graduated with a major on medicine.   
  • 
  • He becomes a revolutionary and formulates "An Essay Concearning Human Understanding",  "Treatises of Government" and other works concearing political philosophy
  • Locke died on 1704 being a philosopher whose works lie at the foundation of modern philosophical empiricism and political liberalism. He was an inspirer of both the European Enlightenment and the Constitution of the United States
