  • everything is fine Liesel go back to bed. 
  • Rising Action
  • Don't be afraid she is a good girl. 
  • Do you still play the accordion? Will you still help me?
  • Liesel's mother left her with a couple named Rosa and Hans Hubermann
  • Climax
  • What does that mean papa?
  • I thought you I taught you to read my girl. 
  • Liesel stole a book from the burning fire on Hitler's birthday.  She thought no one saw her but some did and she doesn't know who.
  • Falling Action
  • Max! 
  • A Jewish man named Max Vandenburg traveled far to get to the Hurbermann household.  He needed help because he was a jew in Germany during Hitler's rain. Huns agreed to help the young man. 
  • Resolution
  • Hans received a letter saying that he was enlisted in the war. He got enlisted as a punishment. He received a punishment because he gave a Jew a piece of bread. 
  • Leisel saw max marching with the other Jews. She tried to get his attention and the guards noticed so the beat Max and Liesel. 
  • While everyone on Himmel street slept Liesel was in the basement writing her book. The sirens were too late, bombs dropped on the street and killed everyone except for the girl in the basement.
