I'm not doing anything mom leave me alone.
Please tell me what's going on, why are you acting like this?
Gru has been taking a break from football and was resting when he noticed there were four painkillers left. Gru thought "why not?" And took all 4 painkillers. Gru loved the "chill" feeling he got and decided he wanted to do it again.
Gru Showed up to football practice telling his friends what he did. One of his friends also does painkillers and took his grandpa's pills. Gru and his friend now come over to each other's house and do painkillers after practice.
Stage 5- Addiction
Gru becomes more addicted to painkillers and it causes unsafe behavior and mood swings. Gru gets kicked off the football team and his mom distrusts him. Gru sometimes feels drowsiness, constipation, and euphoria. Even with all these problems Gru just keeps using the drug and can't stop.
Gru keeps using the drug to feel normal. He lost weight, his grades dropped, he lost all his friends and his family distrust him. Gru keeps using the drug more to get the same effect. Gru tried to quit but the withdraw symptoms pull him back in the addiction, He wants help but can't stop.
I need help but can't stop.
Gru's drug use is out of control and he lost his self control. He can't stop using it even though he knows it's bad for him. He tries to go into rehab but he keeps going back into the addiction from the withdrawl symptoms. These include fever, aches and pains, slow heart rate, and insomnia. After a couple weeks of addiction he couldn't take the pain or quit and he ended up killing himself. His final though was "I should've never done opiods."
