The last few minutes of study hall droned on as all the popular kids gossiped and chatted about their typical plans for the weekend. Willow and I wondered what it would be like to be invited to one of their houses, but we never had been. We were unique, we believed we were magical and dreamed of a Kingdom where everyone got along.
I can't wait to go explore the woods by my house today! I swear the woods are alive somehow, it feels magical there.
Me too! I know a shortcut, let's go through the cemetery on our way home.
We ran through the football field behind the school and jogged down the old broken down railroad tracks. We collapsed when we got to the cemetery, but not before reaching the grave of a little girl named Rebecca. We breathed very slow and deep breaths as we stared among the clouds and imagined the life of the little girl and the boy. We dreamt about them often.
I saw those kids in my dream last night.
That's the tree from our spot, on the other side of the house!!

Seriously? Me too! What did you dream?
We both dreamt Rebecca and Jekyl created a magical place, The Kingdom. The Wise One explains how the portal can only be entered by two innocent souls who are combined as one (best friends).
What is this place?
Welcome to The Kingdom! We have been awaiting your arrival, ever since you created our home within your dreams. It's very important to always come through the portal together.
Willow spends the night and we dream about Rebecca, she was accidently killed. Jeckyl assumed she had abandoned him and was consumed with anger.
Rebecca? Where are you?
Please, STOP! Jeckyl Help!
When we enter The Kingdom, it is gloomy and frigid, Jeckyl is waiting. Jeckyl, consumed by darkness approaches us, he attempts to grab us. But when we scream and grab hands, images from our dreams flash through The Kingdom.
Oh No! Rebecca wake up! I'm sorry! We were only playing around, wake up!
Rebecca! Wait what?.. What have I done?
All this time Jekyl was so angry at her, everyone in his life had left him. The Bur boys were bullies, but they always left us alone when we were together. The darkness lifted from him and young Jekyl stood staring at the frightening Kingdom, he was crying. His tears glistened against the grass and transformed The Kingdom into a beautiful forest again.
