  • The bill is introduced to a committee in the House of Representatives where members of the committee argue and debate. Then they vote on the bill ,if they accept it.
  • What happens when a bill gets vetoed?
  • The bill is introduced to the Senate, if the bill is passed in the House of Representatives. Then the bill is debated and voted on again.

  • The bill gets read and looked at by the President after it gets passed by the Senate. Then the President can agree with the bill and sign it and the bill becomes a law or the President can veto it.
  • When a bill gets vetoed the bill gets sent back to Congress. Then Congress looks back over it. And Congress can override a veto if 2/3 of Congress votes agreeing to the bill.
