  • After the independence was declared, each colony became a separate and independent state. The second committee was deciding how the thirteen new states should cooperate this cause the committee to draft the Articles of Confederation.

  • The confederation made the states cooperate with each other. The congress of confederation was to 2 - 7 delegates to the congress
