The Monsters are Due on Maple Street Theme: Fear and Suspicion can destroy
No, You are the monster!
You are the monster!
AHH! THE POWER IS OUT!
My theme was fear and suspicion can destroy. One thing to support that is when everyone was suspecting everyone. This scene is showing that while they were afraid, they kept suspecting and the whole street got destroyed. If they had not been afraid, they could have figured the problem out. Another thing to support that is when Charlie killed Pete Van Horn. It supports this because Charlie thought he was the monster and he was too scared to think otherwise. If they had just thought about it, Pete could have been a big help in finding the monster. The last reason is because people were afraid of a power outage. It supports my claim because people had no idea what was going on and were all scared. If they had just thought of a logical reason, they could have figured it out. In conclusion, this is why my theme was fear and suspicion can destroy
