Jesus wants to forgive our sins. We come to Jesus for forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In this sacrament, we confess our sins to a priest. He forgives us in Jesus’ name.

Reconciliation is called a healing sacrament for a reason! Everyone sins. That is why Jesus died on the cross; to save us from our sins! Someone would want to participate in Reconciliation because it is a sacramental way to admit our mistakes, receive forgiveness, and try again. There is nothing more beneficial to one's conscious than participating in Reconciliation.
