  • Four passing sights
  • Fortuneteller predicted that Siddartha had two paths to become a prince or to become a religous leader. Siddartha's father tried to guide Siddartha to become a king.
  • Search For Truth path To Self Denial
  •  Siddhartha was raised in wealth and luxury. Siddhartha always had an umbrella above his head for if it was raining to make shade and so that nothing fell onto his head. every day before Siddhartha went out there were guards that made sure that there was no sick or poor people on the street.
  • Great Enlightenment
  • One day Siddhartha went out on his own with just his chariot driver and he saw four suffering people.Siddhartha felt bad for those four people that were suffering, he had never seen anything like this before. Once Siddhartha got to the fourth person he decided that he had felt so bad that he was going to help that man and Siddhartha traded lives with him he had given that man wealth and luxury and now Siddhartha had nothing.

  • Siddhartha searched about life suffering and death to help him reach enlightenment. Siddhartha got little amounts of food every day, Siddhartha only at food from the bowl he had begged from. Siddhartha got such little food that he ate One jujube fruit and one single rice grain a day.
  • Siddhartha meditated for 49 days straight under the same fig tree. Siddhartha was even offered wealth and other desirable things to stop meditating but he kept on meditating. Then a god named Mara started to make rock showers trying to push him out but Siddhartha didn't care he just kept on meditating.
