  • SWISHHHHH!!! Heck yeah I just made that!!
  • This is Newton's second law. You use momentum when you dribble to shoot or when you are dribbling down the court.
  • You use momentum when playing basketball.
  • This is Newton's first law. you have to force the ball off of your fingers.
  • Forceapplies to basketball because you need to use force to shoot the ball and make it.
  • This is Newton's first law also. The ball stays the same speed and motion while it is in the air going to the hoop.
  • You also use motion. You use one fluid motion to get the ball off of your fingers and into the hoop.
  • This is Newton's  first law also. Your feet is what is using inertia. Your feet stay still and on the court.
  • The ball has inertia it doesn't change when it goes into the hoop it still has the same form and figure.
  • This is Newton's  first law also. The ball is what is using velocity. It's going straight and then down.
  • You use velocity when shooting because you have a direction and speed when shooting. The average speed a basketball is thrown is 2.24 m/s.
