I have seen my best friends die right in front of me and my father died in Vietnam!
I felt the need to join because it is my duty to contribute to the wellbeing of my country. That's my backstory. So please, stop judging people and assuming things that you have no idea what you are talking about. All I ask is that next time you see a veteran, just simply say "Thank you for your service."

This man had just taught this young lady a valuable lesson. Just simply thanking someone for what they have done can make them feel that all their hard work was worth it and can brighten up their day. Never judge a book by it's cover, along with making assumptions about people.
