I need to find the truth
Siddhartha was raised in luxury, and wealth. As he grew up his father protected him from everything unpleasant. He also got married and had a child.
One day Siddhartha rode out by himself, he was 29. When he went out he saw an old man leaning on a stick. He also saw a man shrunken by a disease, and a man who had died.
After that day he went to search for the truth. He studied with the gurus. They were the ones who taught him the path to salvation.
One day he sat under a fig tree to meditate. He said this, "even if my blood runs dry..""I will not leave this seat until the truth has been realized,". He sat under the fig tree for 49 days Mara tried to tempt him to give up, but that failed. He went deeper into meditation he saw his pasts lives and had achieved enlightenment.
The Buddah had freed himself from the cycle of rebirth and suffering, but he chose to go back to the world and teach others what he had learned. For the next 45 years, the Buddah traveled across India, preaching a message of the truth and hope.
