Storyboard Text

  • The two older brothers in the family went to chop wood, bringing along cake and wine in case they got hungry.
  • No, then we won't be able to eat it!
  • May I have a bite of cake and a sip of wine?
  • The boys both mysteriously injured themselves, which was the old mans doing.
  • Dunderhead, the youngest, wanted to go back to chop wood. He brought along cinder-cake and sour beer.
  • May I have some food?
  • The old man thanked him and told him to cut down a tree and look at the roots, where he found a golden goose.
  • They shared the food, which had transfermed into cake and wine.
  • Three sisters who were at the inn he was staying at wanted a golden feather.
  • But when they touched the goose or each other, they got stuck.
  • As more people tried to help them, more people got stuck.
  • Dunderhead brought them ahead of the king and princess to try to make her laugh.
  • Ha ha ha!
  • As a reward, the two got married and lived happily ever after.
