I am here today to talk about the a bill that will increase safety in schools...
A bill begins as a idea from a represntative or citizen, and is then proposed to representatives. Then, the bill needs a sponser, and the support of other representatives. The the bill is read to all representatives, and is sent to the House standing committees.

Then, the bill goes to committee, the members review it and vote on wheter or not to send it back to the House floor.Once the bill is approved, it is ready to be debated in the House of Reps.
THIS BILL WILL NOT BECOME A LAW, IT SHALL GO BACK TO CONGRESS ASAP!
The bill is now read out loud by the clerk, and the bill is debated. This is also when representatives make any changes to the bill, and vote on it again.
This document here by declares that this bill has become a law! November 11
This bill can be voted on in three ways; viva voce, divison, or recorded. All of these voting systems are very efficent.
Now, the bill is sent to the president who can pass the bill, veto the bill, or do something known as a ¨pocket veto¨. A pocket veto is when the president does nothing about the bill and it does not become a law.
Finally, after this long process, the bill can become a law! (as long as signed/passed by the president)
