Well once we are done working up enough money we can get a farm, a few acres, maybe grow some alfalfa, make a chicken run, have a few hogs, and live off the land.
Could we get them rabbits
Nothing but Trouble
Haven't seen him. Whispers to Lennie. Hey this girl seems like trouble, don't talk with her, she could cause problems.
Lennie wants George to tell him about the plans they have after they get enough money to buy land. The story of it always seems to fascinate Lennie which is why he asks George to tell him quite often. Both of them hope that one day they will have the money to buy a piece of land like it.
Trouble on the horizon
Jesus Christ. I would have never expected him to do this. He never meant to.
Curley's wife is looking for Curley all over the ranch asking people where he is. From the way she is acting Geroge can tell she could cause some problems in the future. He tells Lennie to stay away from her to prevent getting in trouble or saying anything he should not be.
George's Last Decision
Curley comes in asking where his wife is and the men say it is not their problem and tell hit that he should tell her to stay in the house. This makes Curley horribly mad because he just wanted to know. Lennie thinks this is funny, so Curley targeted him and started fighting since he felt mad, embarrassed, and offended.
Lennie accidentally breaks Curleys wife's neck after giving him something soft to touch (her hair). George and Candy notice this incident and decide to notify the other guys about it. Lennie had escaped after he noticed knowing he would be in serious trouble. Deep down he knows Lennie didn't do it on purpose
At this point everyone is against Lennie for what he has done whether it was intentional or not. George decides to put him out of his misery before he was caught, and tortured painfully by the men that went after him. Despite George hating his decision he knows it has to happen to keep Lennie from it.
