"The Flight of Icarus"
According to the text, Daedalus is the father to Icarus. In this sceane they are making wings to try and fly away and escape the island. The wings are created with feathers and bees wax. They made a mold out of bones that they found on the island.
According to the text, Icarus had the wings attached to his arms. His dad told him not to fly to high or to low. He accidentally flew to high and the bees wax started to melt. The feathers began to fall off and he sank into the deep blue ocean. His father tried to save him but it was to late.
According to the text, Daedalus soon buried his son. Daedalus named the land where is son had passed away Icaria in his memory.
