Lyddie Conflicts Storyboard

Storyboard Text

  • Person v. Nature
  • “But could he climb the supports? It didn’t seem likely. Could he, in his frustration, take a mighty leap and… No."
  • Person v. Society
  • "‘If I’m to recommend you to the Concord Corporation, you need to look decent. They like to hire a good class of girls here."
  • Person v. Self
  • "I find that hard to believe, but if Diana said so..."
  • I know this type of conflict is being demonstrated because Lyddie is against the bear that could be a huge danger and the bear is not a specifically named character with a personality or any sort of character development/traits so it is part of nature.
  • I know this type of conflict is being demonstrated in this scene because it’s because of society and expectations that dressing well would give Lyddie higher chances at getting hired and if she didn’t dress well then she might as well not even try.
  • I know this type of conflict is being demonstrated because Lyddie is fighting with herself a little because she has to get herself to adapt to the nature of a factory girl.
