Storyboard Text

  • Romeo and Juliet III.v
  • Good Father, I beseech you on my knees.
  • Summary 1
  • Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch!
  • Summary 2
  • I think you are happy in this second match, For it excels your first
  • Speak’st thou from thy heart?
  • John Marunczak
  • Summary 3
  •  I do with all my heart, And yet no man like he doth grieve my heart.
  • In this scene, Lord Capulet is arguing with Julie because she refuses to marry Paris. Lord Capulet doesn't take no for an answer so he hits Juliet. Juliet gets on her knees to have her father stop.
  • Literary Device
  • The County Paris, at Saint Peter’s Church shall happily make thee there a joyful bride.
  • In this scene, The Nurse is trying to persuade and convince Juliet to marry Paris because Romeo isn't right for her.  Juliet doesn't want to believe nor be convinced to marry Paris.
  • Theme
  • In this scene, Lady Capulet is calling Romeo a villain because he killed Tybalt and was banished from Verona. Juliet then says how Romeo is best for her. Lady Capulet doesn't agree.
  • That same villain, Romeo
  • I used foreshadowing to show how Lady Capulet demands Juliet to marry Paris and Juliet says how Paris doesn't
  • He shall not make me there a joyful bride!
  • Theme: All good things come to an end. This I believe is the theme because I think Romeo dies. Romeo and Juliet fell in love too quickly and Juliet  is 13 so shes not sure what love is exactly.
