Storyboard Text

  • Two travelers, one a Tailor and the other a Shoemaker, decide to accompany each other on a journey to the capital earn more. 
  • The Tailor, being a young and joyful man, buys only two days worth of bread while the Shoemaker buys 7 days worth of bread. The men get lost in the woods and the Tailor begins to starve.
  • With no food remaining, the Tailor agrees to have his eyes cut out by the Tailor in return for a little bread. He is then left all by himself in the woods. The Tailor is healed through a miracle and arrives at the capitol.
  • At the Capitol, the Tailor is framed for false accusations by the Shoemaker and is forced by the King to complete several missions.
  • The Tailor completes all his assignments and gains the favor of the King. He becomes a very rich man.
  • The Tailor retired as a rich happy man and married the King's daughter. The Shoemaker however, was never seen of ever again.
