Storyboard Text

  • King John
  • I will forever be the greatest!
  • Serfs
  • Yes Your Majesty.
  • Go give me some water you serf!
  • Magna Carta
  • We have come to the conclusion that we are going to need a Magna Carta. You have too much power!
  • NO! That is not happening!
  • I'M NOT SIGNING THE MAGNA CARTA! STOP ASKING ME TO!
  • King John was the king of the Middle Ages. He thought that his country was the greatest. But that was not the case according to the people living there.
  • King John and Magna Carta
  • Serfs had to do exactly what the king told them to do. They weren't allowed to leave the land without the king's permission.  They had very little to no food everyday.
  • The Magna Carta being signed
  • Be quiet.
  • The Magna Carta was soon needed because the King John had way too much power. As you can probably imagine, he was not fond of this idea. As you will soon find out, it did end up happening.
  • Poor John
  • WHY ME!!!!
  • King John still continued to not want to sign the Magna Carta. But eventually was forced to.
  • Sir, you're going to have to sign it no matter what you say.
  • This is the Magna Carta being signed.
  • I told you that you would have to sign it.
  • And there John is, without power and being useless.
