Storyboard Text

  • Do not fear citizens! I am here to help!
  • Uh...who are you? We don't need any help...
  • I'm arctic fox!
  • I'm here to teach you about the importance of water!
  • What do you want?
  • Water is needed for many functions including cooling the body, organ function, and lubrication to aid in digestion.
  • Water acts as a transport medium for different cells, molecules, and other materials.
  • Freezing-point depression is the decrease of the freezing point of a solvent when a non-volatile solute is added.
  • Molecules with a stronger intermolecular force have higher freezing points.
  • As water is cooled to the freezing point, its molecules become slower and hydrogen bonds begin to “stick” more which eventually creates a solid.
