In 2005, Steve Jobs gave a presentation to Stanford Graduates. He told three stories to them, teaching the graduates about his life. One about connecting the dots. One was about love and loss. The last one was about Death.
Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, to his biological parents Abdulfattah Jandali and Joanne Schieble. He was put up for adoption and was adopted by Paul Jobs and Clara Hagopian. He was adopted on one condition, that Steve would go to college one day.
During his Junior year at high school, he was introduced to Steve Wozniak, thanks to another friend of his. The two hit it off, as they were both interested in technology. Steve W. showed Steve J. his small computer that he had in his garage. Steve was very interested.
When he was planning to go to college, Steve Jobs decided to go to Reed College. His parents had been saving up money for him to go to college, however, Reed was a bit too expensive for them to afford. Steve insisted and his parents gave in and he got to go to college.
At college, Steve Jobs found out that he was really bored at college. Nothing interested him, so after one semester he quit. He still hung around, though. He attended whatever classes he wanted, with no restrictions at all.
Steve met back up with his friend, Steve Wozniak. Steve showed him the progress he had done on his computer, and Steve was impressed.
