Siddharta was born about 560 CE in a country now called Nepal.
One day a wise men predicted that Siddharta would become a Buddha.
When siddharta left the palace he saw an old man, a diseased man,a corpse being taken for cremation and a wandering holy man.
He left his wife and his son and spent many years wandering in search for his answers to his questions. For the next six years he travelled around India.
Siddharta went to live with the holy men, the holy men only ate and drank as little as possible . Siddharta soon found that starving himself would not find the answers to his questions. So he left the holy men.
Siddharta meditated under a tree for 46 days and he discovered all the answers to his questions. From that day, he became known as the Buddha.
