Kenny was explaining how cold it was while Kenny,Byron,Joey,Mom, and Dad all warmed up in their house in flint. This is the exposition because it introduces the setting and characters.
The new kid comes on the bus and everyone makes fun of him. This is the rising action because perople start picking on the new kid instead of Kenny, so Kenny is releived.
The watsons go to birmingham. This is the climax because the settings are changing and there is no sighn of any problems for now.
The church in birmingham gets blown up and some of the little girls die. This is the falling action because the conflict just happened and now it's over. But this event can still affect the people who went through the experience.
Kenny goes into a deep depression until Byron convices him to let all his emotions out while conforting him in the bathroom This is the conclusion because the conflict is resolved and the characters have learned their leasons and changed throughout the story. Everything is ok.
The theme of this story is when you need help family is there for you because through out the whole story the family was helping each other.
