  • NOOOO AHHH!
  • The children's Crusade
  • Bye mom
  • Byzantine Emperor Komnenos and Pope Urban made decisions that lead to the First Crusade by only learning from what Christians brought to them. The First Crusade happen because Pope Urban wanted to help the Byzantines and to free Jerusalem.
  • The Christians and the Crusades
  • Europe is really going to change with our type of clothes!
  • That sure is a nice skirt.
  •  Recognizing their territory invaded again and resurgence of Muslim power spurred Christians to launch a Second Crusade. The Christians failed on beating the Muslims. The Third Crusade was spurred because Saladin took control over Jerusalem. The Third Crusade started off on a "bad foot'' by the leader of the enemy that drowned in the Saleph River before reaching the city.
  • The Muslims and the Crusades
  • OH NOO
  • Stephen Of Cloyes convinced people to join ''Children's Crusade'' by telling them that they would be protected by God, and that once they arrived in Jerusalem he would slay their enemies. The people in the Children's Crusade faced difficulties. They were forced to board boats to cross the sea and that was the last time anyone ever heard from them.
  • The Jews and the Crusades
  • Don't touch my son!!
  • What are you going to do about that?!
  • The Crusades change the economic system of Europe. The Crusades contribute to the end of Feudalism throughout Europe by increasing power to force peasants to seek a way to leave the manor. A new fabric started to impact clothing styles in Europe known as Muslim.
  • we should never believe in the Christians!!
  • Muslims did not learn as much about Christians as Christians had learned about them because Muslims could only learn from what Christians brought with them which limited what could be diffused from culture to culture.  Muslims develop a distrust about Christians based on their experiences in the Crusades by countless numbers of Muslims that lost their lives in battles.
  • The Jews were attacked because they were perceived just as much an enemy as Muslims. They were attacked for the crucifixion of Jesus and for being non-believers. Jews throughout Europe suffered extreme persecution. The lives of Jews changed and were miserable. Businesses that were owned and operated by Jews were now the property of Christians.
