  • Why did they leave me here alone
  • What will I do
  • Salva lifted his head proudly
  • I will get us to Kenya no matter how hard it is
  • Salva is weak and dependent on the old lady for food and shelter. He has no idea what he will do without someone by his side.
  • Uncle has been murdered by looters and Salva starts to gain strength through his death. He becomes more independent.
  • Salva is now leading 1500 boys to Kenya where they will be safe from the war in Sudan. They walk long nights but they push through.
