Here we are, it is morning in Egypt another day has begun and I have just bathed and am waiting for my oils and perfume to be applied. Where are my dressers, don't they know I have an important meeting today!
I'm just walking to the Royal Harem to have breakfast with my 'Principal Wife' and children. My Principal Wife will accompany me today as I have some important meetings.
Today we are planning our largest religious festival on the River Nile, there is so much to organise. there is the menu to plan as well as the offerings and transporting the statues. I hope the slaves don't drop any of them! the gods wouldn't be happy. Then there is the entertainment, oh there is so much to do
I am so tired after all of the organising this morning, but where would we be without me! Greeting foreigners is so tiresome, but we need to trade as I am running low on jewels.
On this hot afternoon it is a relief to be in the scroll room discussing my burial plans with my personal architect. I have been Pharaoh for quite a while now and Tombs take a while to build, but it seems to be slowing down.
Imagine my surprise, my wonderful architect took my wife and I on a tour of my tomb. There are rooms for the offerings, slaves and plenty of food, it looks like I will have a safe passage to the after life.
