Mak is very scared for the upcoming game. Mak is a starting player as a D.S. (defensive speacialist) Jordan helps her prepare for the upcoming game by helping her practice passing.
I'M SO NERVOUS FOR THE GAME!
During the first game Mak gets the ball spiked at her at an incredible speed. It ends up hitting her right in the face. The crowd is laughing at her pain. Once again Mak is reminded that she is and will never be; good enough.
Mak is crying to Jordan. Jordan helps Mak to realize that nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes.
The next day at school, everybody in the halls laugh at Mak. Mak just shakes it off and laughs with them.
Mak is an orphan but now can be proud of herself to know that she is wanted and loved by many.
Mak continues to play volleyball with the help of Jordan, in hopes to get a one way ticket to college. She knows her worth and that she is loved, which is one of the greatest gifts of all.
