today in class, we will be discussing the most important nutrient, water!
If you didn't know, your body consists around 75% water! It is extremely important to stay hydrated so that your body functions properly and stays healthy.
Believe it or not, water can be found in almost any food! However, fruits and vegetables contain a lot of water. For example, cauliflower, eggplant, red cabbage, and peppers have 92% water!
Although water is healthy, it can be very dangerous. If you do not have enough water in your system, your body can no longer deliver fluids to your organs, killing you. If you have too much, you can easily drown yourself.
And that concludes class for today. Remember kids, the best way to check to make sure you're dehydrated is to look to see if your urine is clear or not!
