  • In the early 1920's, on a small lush island in the Caribbean Sea. A hunter named Rainsford falls off a boat and swims a mysterious island.
  • Climax
  • General Zaroff and Rainsford were eating dinner when the general told him about his game. Rainsford did not agree and thought it was murder.
  • Falling Action
  • Congratulations! You won the game!
  • I haven't won yet. Get ready general.
  • Rainsford chooses to play the game instead of going with Ivan. He has to last three days on the island without getting caught by the general in order to win.
  • Resolution
  • I have never slept in a better bed
  • Rainsford waits for the General in his bedroom.
  • The general congratulates Rainsford for winning the game. Rainsford then challenges him and whoever loses goes to the dogs while the winner gets to sleep in the bed.
  • Rainsford wins the game and sleeps in Zaroff's bed.
