  • I hate your songs of happiness!!!
  • Grendel, a terrible monster, rushes into the mead hall to execute the people who are joyfully singing and living happily.
  • It is my fate to rid the Danes of their terror, even if I must die in the process!
  • Beowulf, a mighty hero, hears of the monster terrorizing the Danes, sails to Herot, and plans to kill the monster himself along with fourteen of his strongest soldiers.
  • This will be the last time you step foot into Herot, Grendel!
  • Beowulf fights Grendel with no weapons, Beowulf defeats Grendel by ripping his arm off, Grendel then escapes back to his home where he dies.
  • After her sons death, Grendels mother decides she is ready to fight whoever did this. Beowulf comes down to the monster lair to fight her...
  • ...This ends in another Beowulf victory after using a magical sword to slay Grendels mother.
  • I will rule this kingdom courageously and wisely.
  • Beowulf becomes king of the Geats and rules well for 50 years.
  • Beowulf goes into his final battle against a fierce dragon, only one of his soldiers stick by his side, Wiglaf.
  • After the battle Beowulf is weak and is only accompanied by his loyal soldier Wiglaf, when he dies. The soldiers then build a statue for Beowulf and all of his valorous deeds.
  • Thank you for all you have done for us, I will spend my life honoring your glory, Beowulf.
