Storyboard Text

  • Hello this my habitat. Everything is perfect hear expect that we are endangered and global warming is not helping and nor are people. Even though people send weather balloons with specialized instruments up into the atmosphere they don't do anything about us. Many factors affect climate. These factors include the sun, oceans, winds, land types, clouds and human activities.
  • This is my habitat after it's been warmed. As you know that my species is endangered people still hunt us for our fur. and since Male polar bears do not help raise the cubs and may even kill them if they encounter them and that does not help that they are endangered.
  • This is what my habitat could look like in many many many years and I probably wouldn't be here I would probably be inst inked. This will only happen if global warming keeps on happening and if people still keep hunting me. Also another reason why we are endangered because of this is because In areas where sea ice melts in the summer, bears spend several months on land eating little and living on their fat reserves. This is bad because There, they may be more vulnerable to human hunting.
  • As you know polar ice caps are melting this is happening because Ocean Warming increases melting of the Antarctic Ice Sheet, causing sea level to rise. Freshening of Antarctic waters weakens the currents that trap heat and carbon dioxide in the ocean, affecting the global climate. In this way local changes in Antarctica can have global implications.
  • A way to stop global warming and a way to save polar bears are by not polluting and not hunting. When polar ice caps melt it is a  concept called global warming. Humans hunt polar bears for fur but if humans got hunted  I doubt that they would hut but they do because humans have no natural predators.  Even the water in the arctic is bad because coral reefs in the tropical Pacific and both poles, but these are already among the most vulnerable    places on Earth to climate change
