"He let Zero fall over his right shoulder, he stood up lifting Zero's warn out body off the ground" (170).
Stanley found a mud puddle and started getting some water and drinking some also, at the same time Stanley was putting it on Zero. "He dug deeper and as he did so, more water seemed to fill the hole" (172).
A couple days later Stanley's attorney came and helped Stanley and Zero out of the hole and asked the Warden questions and took Stanley and Zero back to Camp Green Lake (216).
"You stole it from my cabin, and you've been caught red handed".
Stanley, Zero, and all the other camp boys got to go home and the Warden, Mr.Pendanski, and Mr.Sir went to jail and when Stanley got home "Stanleys mother insisted there was never a curse" (229).
Stanley carries Zero up God's Thumb and breaks the curse that him and his family had.
This relates to my theme because he tried so hard to get water out of mud and trying to wake up Zero.
This relates to my theme because after all this long Stanley still has not gave up and even though the Warden is lying he still is not giving up.
This relates to my theme because Stanley came all this way and he worked so hard and did not give up, if he did give up he would probably be dead or still stuck at Camp Green Lake.
