After banishing Set to the Duat, releasing Horus and Isis from their bodies, and making a temporary truce with Desjardins, Carter and Sadie have to leave due to the law force arriving soon. They turn into their designated birds. Amos is too tired and hurt to do magic, so Carter turns him into a hamster and carries him in his talons.
Hold on, Where are we going?
Would you come with me please?
Carter, Sadie, and Amos arrive at the remains of the mansion. The mansion was absolutely destroyed, but Khufu was already trying to make things better with sleeping bags and basketball. Amos was most upset about the statue of Thoth, which was in the same state as the mansion.
Well, come on, I won't bite.
Carter and Sadie worked on the mansion for weeks. They were extremely tired after every day of work. They were able to make the mansion sustainable to live in. Amos is still resting from the traumatizing experience of Set possessing him.
Sounds like you have a job opening.
After weeks of Carter and Sadie trying to fix the mansion, they got a visitor. Anubis showed up on the mansion terrace. He made a portal and asked if Carter and Sadie could go with him. Carter was hesitant, but since Sadie made up her mind and went through, he did so as well.
Anubis has taken Carter and Sadie to see their parents in the Hall of Judgement. Julius and Ruby give them the djed, the symbol of Osiris on an amulet. Julius reminds them that they need to rebuild the House of Life and restore it back to its old ways of gods and magicians working together, which means they need to recruit more Blood of the Pharaohs.
After seeing their parents again, Carter and Sadie were taken to The Palace of the Gods. Horus claimed the throne after carter denied the invitation. The gods gave them a gift of repairing every detail of the mansion because of what Carter and Sadie did to stop Apophis rising, but Carter and Sadie still wanted one more thing. They made complaints about them not having an adult to travel with. Then, Bast showed up at the door seconds later.
