Daniel is trying to work on his physics homework. He's having a hard time understanding the new concepts.
As Daniel was working on his sister was just coming home from college. He was so happy to see her and not because he missed her but because she is a science major in college is reallygood at physics. " Hey Carolyn."
" Hi Daniel, how's it going? Whats going on, what are you working on?" Daniel was super excited to see his sister so he could finally get some help. Carolyn was hoping Daniel would ask for her help because she wanted to help him because she missed him her little brother."Well I kinda need your help with this Physics homework and i could really use your help."
"Sure that' no problem little bro. So what am i helping you with?" Daniel passes the book to Carolyn. " Ahh the classic science physics my favorite." "Well you may like it but i can't understand it. I have some new formulas i need to learn and how to use them."
"Alright LETS BEGIN!" says Carolyn.
Lets start with gravity. When you see g in a question it's asking for gravity. G = -9.8 m/s^2. Its negative because gravity pulls items down. when looking for final velocity, you use the formula vf=vi + gt. vi stands for the initial velocity, g is of course for gravity which is -9.8 and t stands for time. Basically when you get a problem, take all the given information and plug it into the formula and solve.
First lets start with the formulas we will start with falling bodies.
" Do you have a better understanding of this Daniel. Do you need any other examples?" " Well Carolyn think i understand it a little better but can you help me understand the difference the final velocity formulas.
