  • A bill always starts of as an idea someone has.
  • The same person with that idea will contact their local congressmen to make the idea more offical and have it be written as a bill.
  • Next the congressmen will pass it onto captial hill until it gets approved by the commitee.If they approve it, it will go to the House of Repersentatives.
  • Next off, if the repersentatives vote yes it will go to the senate.
  • After that it goes to the White House if it was approved by the senate. Then it will wait in line until the president approves it or vetos it.
  • Next, if the president approves the bill he will sign it. 
  • Then the bill will become a law. If the president vetos the bill can't become a law unless congress overrides
