Mehmuda Khatoon lived in Delhi when the Genocide had started.
She was forced to the Delhi with her home with her family so she would stay safe.
Britain had sent soldiers to protect the trains to make sure that they would not be stopped.
The train stopped at Karachi which was a refugee camp. She had to work a lot during the day to help support the family.
She would sneak on a truck and travel to the school almost everyday but never went in becasue she as not allowed to attend school their so she had to learn from home.
Many years later she returned to Delhi and found out that her mothers house was not destroyed and that my different people from many different religions all stayed in the house as sort of a refugee spot.
