A girl named Debbie and a girl named Maureen were best friends. They did everything together. They seemed inseparable until Maureen met Gleena.
Then Maureen and Gleena were friends now Debbie feels like the third wheel. She feels like she does not need to be there anymore. They even would ride rides with each other but she was still unnoticed.
Maureen and Gleena dropped off Debbie leaving her stranded having to watch the car move farther and farther away. Debbie was not feeling good about this at all. But this was her house her stop. She wanted to be the one riding with Maureen.
In the car, Gleena asks when they were going on vacation. And her mom replies "Saturday, but early so Maureen should stay the night." Debbie did not like this and thought she was going to get time with Maureen but she was going with them. She was again going to be without her best friend.
Debbie decided that she wanted to get out of the car because she felt left out. It stated that she would just disappear. She made an excuse saying that her mom needed something from the store. Maureen followed her out of the car and Debbie said she was not mad she just missed the way they were friends. Then Maureen said they were still friends and asked if they could go to the river.
They went to the river and Debbie explained to Maureen that Gleena didn't want to be her friend. She said Gleena would be happy if she disappeared from the face of the earth with a poof of smoke. They both knew it was kinda true. Debbie did realize that Maureen wasn't just going to dump Gleena, but she knew they would still be friends.
