Storyboard Text

  • You are free to eat from any of the trees in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. From that tree you shall not eat; when you eat from it you shall die.
  • "The LORD God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it"
  • "This one, at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;this one shall be called 'woman,' for out of man this one has been taken
  • God tells him one thing not to do...
  • "Did God really say, 'You shall not eat from any of the trees in the garden'?"
  • God made animals but none of them suited the man. So God put Adam in a deep sleep and took one of Adams ribs. He then used the rib he had taken from the man and built a woman.
  • Adam was very happy. The man and his wife were both naked but felt no shame.
  • The snake was the most cunning of the wild animals in the garden and stared talking.
  • The woman explained that they were only allowed to eat from certain trees in the garden and the snake says they will not die. He says God knows that their eyes will be opened once they eat the fruit.
