  • In Juliet's bedroom, Lady Capulet tries to convince Juliet to marry Paris on Thursday.
  • I will not marry yet, and when I do I swear it shall be Romeo.
  • Here comes your father, tell him so yourself.
  • Capulet and the Nurse join Lady Capulet and Juliet. Capulet then loses his temper over Juliet's arguing.
  • To go with Paris to Saint Peter's Church, or I will drag thee on a hurdle thither.
  • Good father I beseech you on my knees, hear me with patience.
  • Capulet continues to harshly threaten Juliet.
  • Or never after look me in the face. My fingers itch.
  • Juliet pleads for her families sympathy.
  • Is there no pity sitting in the clouds. That sees into the bottom of my grief ?
  • Lady Capulet expresses her anger and then leaves with Capulet.
  • Talk not to me, for I'll not speak a word. Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee.
  • The Nurse turns on Juliet and leaves her with only one contact, Friar Lawrence.
  • Speak'st thou from the heart ? Go in an tell my lady I am gone.
  • I think it is best you married with the County. O, he's a lovely gentleman! Romeo's a dishclout to him.
