Storyboard Text

  • The research method was a lab experiment with an independent measures design
  • There was a reward of a candy bar or a small fee
  • There were 228 participants in total recruited by volunteers.
  • The participants were told to focus on the white players whilst watching the video clip,
  • After they were asked if they spotted the Gorilla that walked through the game.
  • There were two teams of three players. One team in black, one in white
  • This is because they filtered out the colour black and didn't notice the Gorilla passing
  • After, the participants were asked if they noticed anything unusual. Most people that hadn't seen the video said no
