H..Hello Mr. Johnston, I was wondering if I could have Christmas day off to spend with my family, my son has cancer and we don't know how many Christmases he has left
Meet James Johnston, a wealthy business man working in New York's Wall Street. He runs the Johnson and Smith Law Firm, his old partner David Smith has been dead for many years. James is visited by his hardworking assistant Michael Williams who asks for Christmas day off. Christmas has always been a hard time for Johnston but he gives Willams the day off but he has to do work from home all day
If I do this for you, I need you to still do some work from home, or else.
The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Johnston to 12 years ago when he was left at the alter. The Christmas eve wedding was canceled because the bride, Anna Davis, realized Johnston cared more about making more money than being her husband. Johnston watched the scene and realized that he ruined something great because of greed
Umm... I need to go, I don't think I can do this.
The Ghost of Christmas Present takes Johnston to his assistant, Michael Williams home. Michael is making his kids go to bed extra early so they will wake up early and he can start work like Johnston told him. Here is Michael telling his son Mini Mark with his wife Christine.
Alright Mark, It's time to go to bed, we need to get up early tomorrow to open presents so dad can get to working
I can't believe your boss is making you work on Christmas, does he not know what we are going through
It's okay mommy I can go to bed early.
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, The last of the spirits, takes Johnston to the local graveyard. Johnston sees that he dies on Christmas day. He sees that no one has visited his grave yard and left anything. People are mourning the other tombstones but no one mourns Johnston.

I'm so sorry Mr. Johnston, I had a late night with my son, it won't happen again.
Johnston and Williams return to work on December 26th. Williams comes into work late nervous for what Johnston is going to tell him. He thinks he is coming in to get fired, but Johnston does something Williams never thought he would do.
It's okay Michael, you are getting a raise and I want to help you with Mark and his cancer let me know what I can do to help
