Storyboard Text

  • The snake was telling the woman that she could eat the fruit, and their eyes would be opened and know between good and evil.
  • So the woman took the fruit and ate it, sharing it with her husband. They then noticed they were undressed, so sewed leaves together to cover themselves. Except then they heard the Lord God approaching and hid.
  • Lord God knew they had eaten from the tree, the woman tried to explain the snake, but God was mad. He cursed the serpent, the woman for painful labor and vulnerability. Then he cursed the man, that he shall eat thorns and thistles from the ground, where he came from
  • The man was then named Adam and his wife Eve, as she would be the mother of all living.  They were then given garments of clothing to wear.
  • God then said that Adam knows good from evil so he must not take and eat from the tree of life and live forever. So Adam was banished to work the ground where he had come from.
  • Once Adam was gone, God placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and flaming sword down, to guard the tree of life.
