  • James Madison was the 4th president of the United States. He made a major contribution to the ratification of the Constitution by writing The Federalist Papers.
  • The United States wanted to expand territories, a invasion of native homelands throughout the interior of the continent. Tribal nations of the lower Great Lakes.
  • There was an attack during the war of 1812, between British forces and those of the United States of America. It included trade restrictions brought about by the British war with France, the impressment of American merchant sailors into the Royal Navy.
  • Bombardment of Fort McHenry happened in 1814. Fort McHenry stood between the British navy and the city of Baltimore.
  • The General (Andrew Jackson) had no love for the British. He’d spent time as their prisoner during the Revolutionary War, and he made them go in battle.
  • These were the effects that happened in the war of 1812. The war against Britian and Amerians.
