  • Fans
  • A soccer match has 22 layers on  the field. That means 11 players are on each team. There are 3 defenders, 5 midfielders, 2 strikers, and 1 goalie on each team. There are also different formations but this is the most common one.
  • Fouls and Corners
  • There also referees, they make the game safer so nobody gets hurt. They usually wear bright colors so people like players and fans can see them. They call fouls which are in red cards, yellow cards, or just common fouls There are 3 refs in a game, two are on the side line and one in the middle of play.
  • Scoring a Goal
  • With all of these great teams there are fans. In the great game of soccer it self there are 4.0 billion fans These fans sing song that they made up about their team and they wave flags around with their teams logo on the flag.
  • Free kicks, penalty kicks and corner kicks are a very important part of soccer. When you make a foul outside the penalty box it is a free kick. If you make a foul in side the penalty box it is penalty kick. A corner kick is when you kick it out of bounds on the goal line, then a player hits the ball in to play on the corner.
  • A goal is the most exiting part of soccer. A goal is when somebody gets the ball and kicks it in the back of the net of the goal past the goalie. People score 1 to 2 goals per game and if it's a blow out they will score 6 to 11 goals.
