Hi! Welcome to Adventures with Ava. Today we will be learning about geothermal energy, heat energy. As you can see I am standing in front of an active volcano. The most of geothermal energy is found near volcanic places so that's where I traveled to today, a volcano. Geothermal energy comes from the center of the earth. Geothermal energy power plants pump out all of the geothermal energy. Geothermal energy can be removed without burning fossil fuels which are non renewble natural resources. But one downside is when removed geothermal energy can possibly release carbon dioxide or hydrogen sulfide.
Oh No! The volcano erupted! Run!
Whew! That was a close one! Maybe I should camp out here for the night.
