Storyboard Text

  • A boy named Ponboy is introduced, he is fourteen years old and he tells the events that have taken place in his life as a son with no parents, his life as a gang member, and the rivalry between Greasers and Socs.
  • Climax
  • The Socs jump Ponyboy which pull out a knife and threaten him but the rest of his gang show up and save him from the Socs.
  • Falling Action
  • When the Socs begin to drown Ponyboy, Johnny ran up to Bob and killed him to save Ponyboy. After what happened, they felt it was better to run away so they dont get caught. With the help of Dally they hid in a old church. Problems insue while they're gone between the Socs and Greasers. The church soon catches fire with children in it, Ponyboy and Johnny go save them but Johnny becomes badly injured when escaping.
  • Resolution
  • When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home...
  • Johnny dies from his injuries while in the hospital, his last words to Ponyboy were "Stay gold Ponyboy...Stay gold."
  • The Rumble between the Socs and Greasers takes place, the Greasers had won. Ponyboy gets knocked unconcious for several days. Dallas died by pointing an unloaded gun at the cops who killed them. He believed without Johnny he had nothing, Johnny was the only person he loved.
  •  Ponyboy works on an assignment he has to do for English class, he writes about what happened between the Socs and Greasers in the beginning, about Johnny and Dally's death, and running away when Bob was killed. His assignment starts off the same way the entire story did.
