- I can't believe they fired me, we're poor. I can't eat your food.
- Period 3
- Lizabeth, her brother and her friends, decided to go taunt an old lady. They called her mean names and threw rocks at her. Although her house was ugly and old, the flowers in front of the house were very pretty. After they left her house lizabeth realized how childish that was.
- As lizabeth laid in bed, she could hear her parents talking about how her father lost his job. And how they are in poverty. She was crying and her brother came to comfort her. She got up and ran to the old ladies house as her brother followed.
- Lizabeth ran to miss lotte's house and kneeled by the beautiful marigolds. And then ripped them all out in the act of anger and sadness. She looked up from the flowers and saw the old lady and in that moment lizabeth realized she needed to grow up! The childhood ended and the women hood began.
