Storyboard Text

  • Tomorrow, I am going to die.
  • The narrator starts the story, in jail, by telling the reader he is going to die. The narrator then begins retelling his story.
  • One night the narrator comes home very drunk. He get angry at his cat, and decides to cut one of his eyes. After a while he gets tired of the half blind cat, and kills it.
  • That night, after killing the cat, he wakes up to a fire. He and his wife flee the house. He later returns to see one wall didn't burn down. On the wall, was a picture of the cat.
  • One day while he was out walking, he came across a cat. This cat was identical to his old cat, except it had a white mark on its stomach similar to a noose. He loved the cat, so he took it home. 
  • One day, the new cat followed him down to the basement. He got annoyed and took an axe to try to kill the cat. However, his wife got mad at him and didn't want him to kill the cat. So, he killed his wife instead.
  • The next day, some police searched his house for anything suspicious. They didn't find anything and were ready to leave when the narrator decided to show them his new wall. Behind it, he had was his wife and the cat. The narrator is then taken to jail and is to be killed the next day.
